What two hours is LA missing that NY is getting? How could we get the full five in LA? SOoooooooooo glad for us. Are you physically in LA? Any hopes of that? KABC in LA sorely misses you. I’m a fallen away listner who son went to both schools (grammar/Baker & ? and HS/Daniel Murphy) that had the displeasure of two “rogue” priests and teacher, now convicted, in their lair……both schools closed. Wonder why….disperse the students, my opinion.

Doug, I miss you so much. I stopped listening to KABC all together since they fired you. Peter is just not anything like you and talks so fast you can’t hear what he is saying. I sent an extremely nasty spirited letter to KABC about firing you and this group with Frosty etc, are so dumb, they should be hosting dancing with the stars. I keep looking back to see if you found another station so I can switch to that. I like Bill Handel’s talk about legal cases but he plays some really raunchy things that are in bad taste. I like you and all your brillance.

Doug, I miss your in-depth probes into the current topics so much. Talk radio (especially ‘your’ previous station) is not the same. In fact your old station seems to have ‘disappeared’ on my radio dial. I have been listening to you since your Red-Eye Radio Days and followed you along the way. I even met you briefly at the Newport Beach Film Festival during the run of “Trying to Get Good”. I also have learned so much about current great musicians like Jack Sheldon, John Pizzarelli, etc. and have become a fan of jazz and cabaret music, thanks to you. At least I am able to follow you online for now. I am anxiously waiting to hear you again on the radio.

I started listening to KABC when Ray Bream was on overnight. But No more. I miss Doug’s comments on our poor city government, and his caringfor the people in this city.
